ClassicYGO may collect information that you provide directly, information created through your use of the site, and technical information needed to operate the service.

This may include your username, email address if required for account features, password or authentication data, profile information, account settings, decks, replays, duel history, match results, ratings, chat messages, private messages, reports, moderation logs, judge communications, uploaded or shared content, and any other information you choose to create, submit, publish, or send through the site.

ClassicYGO may also collect technical information such as IP address, browser type, device type, operating system, timestamps, login history, session information, cookies, local storage data, error logs, security logs, and other technical data needed for login, security, debugging, abuse prevention, moderation, and general operation of the site.

Users should avoid putting real names, addresses, phone numbers, private contact information, sensitive personal information, or confidential information in usernames, profiles, deck names, duel notes, chats, replays, or any other area of the site.

ClassicYGO may use collected information to operate the website, provide user accounts, save decks, save replays, run duels, display match history, maintain ratings, provide site features, remember preferences, secure accounts, prevent spam, investigate bugs, enforce rules, resolve disputes, respond to judge calls, handle moderation issues, and improve the service.

ClassicYGO may also use information to detect cheating, abuse, harassment, ban evasion, suspicious activity, technical errors, unauthorized access, or violations of the site rules.

If ClassicYGO adds optional email features, announcements, newsletters, advertising systems, analytics tools, or marketing features in the future, user information may be used to provide or manage those features, where permitted by law.

ClassicYGO does not sell your personal data.

Your decks and replays are private by default.

Other users cannot access your private decks or private replays unless you share a link, make them public, submit them as evidence, send them to another person, publish them, or otherwise choose to disclose them yourself.

If you share a deck link or replay link, you are responsible for that sharing. Anyone who receives the link may be able to view the content linked to it. ClassicYGO cannot control what other people do with links, screenshots, decklists, replays, or information that you voluntarily share.

ClassicYGO is not responsible for leaks, screenshots, copies, reposts, tournament use, public discussion, or third-party sharing of decks or replays that you made public or shared yourself.

Some areas of ClassicYGO may be public or visible to other users.

This may include usernames, public profiles, avatars, public deck pages, public replays, leaderboard information, tournament information, duel chat, public chat, match results, ratings, and any content you choose to publish or share.

If you post, publish, or share content publicly, other users may view it, copy it, screenshot it, save it, discuss it, or share it outside ClassicYGO. ClassicYGO cannot control how other users handle information that you choose to make public or share with them.

You are responsible for the content you publish, send, or share.

ClassicYGO may share or disclose information when necessary to operate the service, comply with the law, protect the site, enforce rules, investigate abuse, resolve disputes, or work with technical service providers.

Information may be shared with hosting providers, database providers, authentication providers, storage providers, analytics providers, security tools, error tracking tools, advertising providers, payment providers if ever added, and other technical services needed for the site to function.

ClassicYGO may also disclose information if required by law, court order, legal process, governmental request, law enforcement request, or if necessary to protect the rights, safety, property, or security of ClassicYGO, its users, its owner, its developers, its moderators, its judges, or the public.

ClassicYGO may provide relevant information to GoatWorld judges and moderators when needed to investigate reports, enforce site rules, review appeals, handle bans, handle freezes, or resolve gameplay disputes.

ClassicYGO does not intentionally share private decks or private replays with other users unless you choose to share them, make them public, submit them as evidence, or otherwise disclose them yourself.

ClassicYGO may contain links to third-party websites, Discord servers, social media pages, card databases, tournament platforms, community resources, advertisements, or other external services.

ClassicYGO is not responsible for the content, privacy practices, security practices, policies, availability, or behavior of third-party websites or services.

If ClassicYGO displays advertisements in the future, those advertisements may be provided by third-party advertising partners. These partners may use cookies, tracking technologies, analytics tools, or other methods to show, measure, or personalize ads, depending on the tools used and the laws that apply.

Any data collected by third-party advertisers, analytics providers, embedded content, external links, or other third-party services is governed by their own privacy policies, not this Privacy Policy.

Users should review the privacy policies of third-party services before providing information to them.

ClassicYGO is not responsible for any loss, tracking, data collection, malware, scams, misleading content, privacy issue, or damage caused by third-party websites, advertisements, tools, links, or services.

ClassicYGO only uses cookies, local storage, and session storage for strictly necessary purposes: keeping you signed in, restoring an ongoing duel after a reload or disconnection, remembering basic interface preferences (for example which side panel is open), and caching card images locally so the site loads quickly.

ClassicYGO does not use analytics cookies, advertising cookies, marketing trackers, third-party tracking pixels, fingerprinting, cross-site tracking, or any non-essential tracking technology. No data is shared with advertising networks or analytics providers.

Because every cookie and local storage entry used by ClassicYGO is strictly necessary to provide a service that you explicitly requested (signing in, playing a duel, using your account), no cookie consent banner is shown. This is consistent with the exemption in Article 5(3) of the EU ePrivacy Directive and equivalent guidance in other jurisdictions.

If ClassicYGO ever introduces optional analytics, advertising, or other non-essential technologies in the future, this Privacy Policy will be updated and an appropriate consent mechanism will be added before those technologies are activated.

You can clear cookies and local storage at any time through your browser settings. Doing so will sign you out and may end any duel currently in progress.

Some browsers offer a Do Not Track setting. Because there is no single universally accepted standard for how websites should respond to Do Not Track signals, and because ClassicYGO does not perform tracking, no special handling of Do Not Track signals is currently required.

ClassicYGO keeps information for as long as reasonably necessary to operate the service, maintain accounts, provide site features, enforce rules, prevent abuse, resolve disputes, comply with legal obligations, protect the site, and maintain security.

As long as you have an active account, ClassicYGO may retain account information, decks, replays, duel history, settings, moderation records, and related data.

When data is no longer needed, ClassicYGO may delete it, anonymize it, overwrite it, or isolate it from active use.

Some information may remain temporarily in backups, technical logs, security logs, moderation records, or archived systems until those records are deleted or overwritten.

ClassicYGO does not guarantee permanent storage of any account data, decks, replays, match history, ratings, logs, or other content.

When you delete your profile, ClassicYGO will attempt to delete your account data, profile data, decks, and replays from active systems.

Some information may remain temporarily in backups, logs, security records, moderation records, or technical systems until those records are deleted, overwritten, or no longer needed.

ClassicYGO may keep limited information when necessary to prevent abuse, enforce bans, investigate misconduct, protect the site, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, or maintain security.

ClassicYGO is not responsible for information that remains available because you previously shared it publicly, sent it to another user, posted it outside ClassicYGO, gave someone else access to it, or allowed another person to access your account.

ClassicYGO aims to use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect user information.

However, no website, server, database, internet connection, authentication system, or online service can be guaranteed to be perfectly secure.

You use ClassicYGO at your own risk. Transmission of information to and from the site may not always be secure. You should only use ClassicYGO from a secure device, secure browser, and secure network.

ClassicYGO is not responsible for unauthorized access, account compromise, data loss, technical failure, security incidents, third-party breaches, user mistakes, weak passwords, shared accounts, compromised devices, or events outside its reasonable control, to the maximum extent permitted by law.

You are responsible for keeping your account secure.

You should use a strong password, keep your login information private, avoid reusing compromised passwords, and avoid sharing your account with other people.

ClassicYGO is not responsible for activity performed on your account if someone else accesses it because you shared your credentials, used an insecure password, reused a leaked password, left your device unlocked, used an unsafe network, installed unsafe software, or otherwise failed to protect your account.

If you believe your account has been compromised, you should contact the ClassicYGO or GoatWorld moderation team as soon as possible.

ClassicYGO is not intended for users who are not old enough to use online services under the laws of their country.

By using ClassicYGO, you confirm that you are old enough to use the service under the laws that apply to you, or that you have permission from a parent or legal guardian where required.

ClassicYGO does not knowingly request sensitive personal information from minors.

If a parent or legal guardian believes that a minor has provided personal information that should be deleted, they may contact the ClassicYGO team or the GoatWorld moderation team.

Depending on where you live, you may have legal rights regarding your personal data.

These rights may include the right to access your data, correct your data, delete your data, object to certain processing, restrict certain processing, withdraw consent, or request a copy of your data.

ClassicYGO may not have a dedicated automated system for every privacy request. If you want to make a privacy request, you should contact the ClassicYGO team or the GoatWorld moderation team and clearly explain what you are requesting.

ClassicYGO will handle valid privacy requests in accordance with applicable law.

Users located in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, Switzerland, California, or other regions with privacy laws may have additional rights under those laws.

If you are a California resident, you may have specific rights regarding your personal information under California law.

These rights may include the right to know what categories of personal information are collected, the right to request deletion, the right to request correction, the right to know whether information is shared or sold, and the right to opt out of certain sharing or sale of personal information where applicable.

ClassicYGO does not sell personal data.

If advertising, analytics, or similar third-party tools are added in the future, California users may have additional rights depending on how those tools are implemented.

California users who wish to make a privacy request should contact the ClassicYGO team or the GoatWorld moderation team with a clear explanation of the request.

If you are under 18, live in California, and have posted content publicly on ClassicYGO, you may request removal of content that you publicly posted. Removal from public display does not always mean complete deletion from backups, logs, archives, screenshots, third-party copies, or systems outside ClassicYGO's control.

ClassicYGO may send service-related communications when needed for account security, password recovery, moderation, important site updates, policy changes, or other operational reasons.

If ClassicYGO adds optional newsletters, promotional emails, tournament announcements, marketing messages, or advertising communications in the future, users may be given a way to unsubscribe where required by law.

Even if you opt out of optional marketing messages, ClassicYGO may still send necessary service-related messages.

ClassicYGO may use logs, reports, screenshots, replay links, account data, chat records, technical data, and other relevant information to investigate cheating, harassment, abuse, bugs, account issues, ban evasion, or rule violations.

The GoatWorld judge and moderation team may review information that is voluntarily submitted by users or reasonably necessary to resolve disputes, enforce site rules, investigate abuse, protect the platform, or respond to appeals.

Users should go to the GoatWorld Discord server for judge issues, moderation disputes, freeze appeals, ban appeals, or any situation where they believe they were treated unfairly.

Submitting a report, replay, screenshot, or appeal may reveal information contained in that report to the judge or moderation team.

ClassicYGO is provided as a community service and may contain bugs, errors, missing features, outages, incorrect data, lost data, or unexpected behavior.

ClassicYGO does not guarantee that decks, replays, accounts, match history, ratings, logs, messages, moderation records, or other data will always be available, accurate, recoverable, complete, or preserved permanently.

Users are encouraged to keep their own backups of any decklists, screenshots, replays, notes, or information that they consider important.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, ClassicYGO is not responsible for lost decks, lost replays, lost account access, lost rating, missing data, corrupted data, service interruptions, or technical issues.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, ClassicYGO, its owner, developers, judges, moderators, contributors, community partners, and related persons are not responsible for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, special, punitive, or other damages resulting from the use of the site.

This includes, but is not limited to, account loss, data loss, deck loss, replay loss, rating loss, tournament disputes, moderation decisions, judge decisions, user disputes, unauthorized account access, technical bugs, service downtime, third-party service failures, advertising issues, security incidents, or content shared by users.

ClassicYGO does not guarantee uninterrupted service, perfect security, permanent data storage, error-free gameplay, accurate data, or compatibility with every device, browser, extension, operating system, or network.

Some laws may not allow certain limitations of liability. In those cases, ClassicYGO's responsibility is limited to the maximum extent permitted by applicable law.

ClassicYGO may update this Privacy Policy at any time.

Changes may be made to reflect new features, technical changes, advertising tools, analytics tools, legal requirements, moderation needs, security needs, or changes in how the site operates.

The updated version will be posted on this page with a new "Last updated" date.

Continued use of ClassicYGO after the Privacy Policy is updated means that you accept the updated Privacy Policy.

For privacy questions, account deletion issues, moderation disputes, freeze appeals, ban appeals, or judge-related matters, users should contact the ClassicYGO team through the GoatWorld Discord server.
